Loralin Robbins has one dream: to remodel and reopen her late grandparents’ inn. With the help of her scandalously younger best friend, who moves from Tasmania to Elk River, Wyoming, she fulfills that dream. 

When someone is murdered in the parking lot after the grand opening festivities, she realizes that for her dream to continue, she must help her detective ex-husband, Miles, solve the crime. She doesn’t care if he and Devin don’t want her to. It’s her dream, and she refuses to let it die.

Loralin and Devin are happy the grand opening murder is over, and they can get on with running the inn. Too bad Mother Nature has other plans. 

When the 20-year flood hits Elk River, they help shelter victims and a visiting group from the hospital in Casper — including her daughter Heather’s boss, Phyllis Palmer. 

When the evil woman ends up dead, it’s once again a race against time to not only save the inn but to keep her daughter out of jail.  

Loralin and Devin are happy to leave the murders at the Robbins Nest Inn behind. They head to Devin's home country for some rest, relaxation, and sausage rolls. But there's no rest for the weary as they soon become involved with a death in Tassie.

Loralin comes home from Australia alone. She’s waiting for Devin to decide what their future will look like. When he returns, three months later, he brings his orphaned baby cousin, Lily, with him.

His first order of business is to get Loralin back. The second order of business is to find a family for Lily. But nobody knows how dangerous that will be.

The Robbins’ Nest Inn’s eccentric French chef, Pierre Marqui, refuses to hire his nephew to be his new Assistant Chef, even if he hates everyone else he’s hired. 

The question becomes, did he or his nephew hate one of them enough to kill them? A fresh new murder at the inn puts Loralin and Devin on the path to deciphering the perfect recipe for murder, and making sure their beloved Chef is safe. 

Loralin Wentworth is about to publish her first cozy mystery novel, and the celebration scheduled for release day is set to be the event of the year. 

She’s not as happy as she should be because she knows that something is bound to go awry. Just when she thinks she may have been wrong and the evening will finish on a high note, someone falls from the sky onto the freshly sealed driveway. 

Police Chief Don Peterson despised the victim and is the perfect prime suspect. Now Loralin, Devin, and Miles must solve the crime to keep their friend and boss out of jail. Oh, how she wished this were just a plot in a mystery book. 

Heather Robbins regrets the day she met the father of her precious son, Isaiah. At least she wants to regret it, but she loves her son more than anyone on the planet. 

Her ex never wanted anything to do with Isaiah, until he heard that she was getting married and another man would raise his child.

Mr. Deadbeat Ex sets about making her life miserable until the day his body is found in a room at the inn. Luckily, Heather has an alibi, so Loralin and Devin have to look elsewhere to find the long line of betrayal and evil that cursed him and caused the death of the deadbeat. 

The sister of Loralin’s new cleaning lady is murdered in a home she was having torn down. The house's misplaced tenant, Jenny, runs the staff and guests' daycare in the inn’s basement, and she is the first one the police suspect.  

Once again, Loralin and Devin juggle running the inn and trying to find the murderer of one of the most hated women in the state. 

The investigation leads them down a long, painful path from the past. Lorain must choose between giving up her lifelong dream to bury the past or continuing on, not knowing how deep she may fall into the never-ending abyss that wants to consume her.
